High School Psychology (2 Semesters)

In this class, we will learn about ourselves. We are going to explore topics about human development during the life span, from conception to death. We will learn about what may happen to us when our development is not optimum (psychopathology) and what can be done about it (psychotherapy). We will explore our own history and personality and create a personal tool box that we can use in times of hardship. Finally, we will investigate our role as part of our many networks (couple, family, friends, society).

Graphics Design (1 Semester)

In this class we will learn the basics of graphics design using a picture editing software (Photoshop). We will create a personalized movie poster or a desktop picture. We will learn how to use a vector-based graphics software (Illustrator) to design a magazine page. We will learn how to use an animation software (Flash) to create an ad banner for the internet. Finally we will create our own web page to display our work (using Dreamweaver) and post it on the internet.

Yearbook (2 Semesters)

In this class we will design and produce the school's Yearbook. This will involve designing pages using a publishig software (Indesign), editing photos using a picture editing software (Photoshop), taking photos, choosing and writing text content and more.
